Your Impact
Do you enjoy working in a cross-functional team to help businesses reach their growth potential? Are you an experienced project manager with a strong delivery background as well as a good technical and functional acumen? Then you are the Head of PMI we are looking for!
Within the company's Post-Merger Integration (PMI) department and under the responsibility of our COO, you will be in charge of managing all the activities related to the integrations of newly acquired companies to our Efficy landscape. You will work closely with business leaders and internal cross-functional teams to coordinate the development, implementation, and execution of integration plans.
Mission
The Integration Manager role is responsible for creating a comprehensive project plan which includes all workstream and functional team tasks to achieve the success milestones based on the acquisition strategy and goals. Specific responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively identify key integration synergies, risks and challenges during due diligence
- Define integration plans with milestones, timelines, resources
- Manage the overall execution of the integration plan from Day 1 on-boarding to completion of all integration activities
- Define, track, and communicate appropriate performance measurements to project team and stakeholders
- Quickly identify, escalate, and resolve issues
- Hold cross functional teams accountable for deliverables
- Participate in continuous improvements and best practices to continually evolve our integration capabilities (Playbook update)
- Minimal travel expected; could increase up to 50% during an integration
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMI activities
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Operational Consulting and / or Project Management and /or Digital Transformation
- Familiarity with financials and enterprise data is a plus
- Expertise in strategic and operational analysis required
- Master’s degree or equal by experience in computer science, technology or related field
- Flexible approach, willing to wear multiple hats if needed
- Excellent team player
- General can-do attitude with clear bias to action
- Very good command of English. French and/or Dutch is a plus
To be successful in this important role you will need the following qualifications:
- Strong analytic skills and solid background in functional analysis
- Experience with custom and CRM solutions
- Passion for leading and managing major change projects/programs – career minded and oriented to this role
- Strong track record of leading successful change projects/programs from start to finish as the lead
- Ability to think strategically (big picture) and tactically in regards to project planning, scoping, budgeting, and quality
- Demonstrated ability to lead several sub-projects in parallel and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to estimate project efforts and manage client expectations
- Understanding and appreciation of processes and governance required to lead projects and programs
- Experience in dealing with all management levels within an organization, and ability to work within a matrix organizational structure
